I would hope that something like this never comes to pass and if it did I would probably abandon watching professonal sports that exploited this decision. It is disturbing enough that it is even coming to the table and has a chance to pass.
Wow. That's kind of crazy. It makes me wonder if the NFL, NBA, or MLB would actually draw the best athletes if the laws are changed. They would go to Europe to make more money.
By the way, I like your "pure evil" label. I'll have to write a post that is apropos of it.
